Kate has almost 15 years of sales and leadership experience within the bio-tech and software industries. Since joining Sterling Point in 2010 she’s been focused on helping many of Boston’s hottest SaaS companies build high-performing sales and marketing teams.  In a number of instances, she started partnering with these companies in their infancy and long before they were large, recognizable and successful.  Key clients where Kate has played an integral role in building out their early stage Go-To-Market capabilities include Vertica, BitSight, Zerto, Unitrends, Opsgenie, Zero Turnaround, Fuze, Turbonomic, and Veracode to name a few.  

With more than 400+ successful searches under her belt, she has a real passion for startups and is known for partnering with the best in the industry on both the client and candidate side. Kate has used her passion and expertise to coach and mentor new hires on the Sterling Point team.

Prior to Sterling Point, Kate was a Clinical Sales Consultant for Viacord, a Perkin Elmer Company. There she led the charts in bio-tech sales and during her 4-year tenure consistently exceeded multi-product sales goals. She built and maintained strategic relationships with high profile hospitals and OBGYN offices in a highly competitive industry.

Kate earned her degree in Sociology and Business while attending the University of Rhode Island. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 kids, weekends in the summer down the Cape (her favorite place), and rooting for the Patriots.

Fun Fact: The Sterling Point name was Kate’s idea!
